This Privacy Policy explains how EXALTA LLC ("Nuclens," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Nuclens platform and website at nuclens.com (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect

2. How we use information
- To provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service (including authenticating you and running your analyses and reports).
- To process payments and manage credits, plans, and usage limits.
- To communicate with you about your account, transactions, and service updates.
- To monitor, debug, and improve the Service and prevent abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
To generate results, the criteria and queries you submit are transmitted to our AI provider and to public biomedical databases for processing (see subprocessors below). Please avoid entering confidential, proprietary, or personal information you do not wish to be processed by these third parties.
3. Service providers (subprocessors)
We share information with trusted third parties only as needed to run the Service:

These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal information.
4. How we share information
We may share information: (a) with the service providers above; (b) to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; (c) to protect the rights, safety, and security of Nuclens, our users, or the public; and (d) in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for third-party advertising.
5. Data retention
We retain account and usage information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data (see "Your rights").
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information (including access controls and encryption in transit). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact hello@nuclens.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
8. International users
The Service is operated from, and information is processed in, the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from your own.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to authenticate you and keep you signed in, and to operate the Service. Because these are strictly necessary, disabling them may prevent the Service from working.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for professional and research use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
